Epic Sign Fails: Misuse of Quotations with Custom Signs
Signs. We love them. Signs are the best. It’s besides the fact that we make our living off of signs. That is neither here nor there (okay maybe it is). Hehe. Other than that we love signs for a lot of reasons. I mean, they help identify where we want to go. They help identify where you want to go. The list goes on and on. One of the best parts about being in the sign and banners business is that we’ve seen a lot of good, bad and horrific when it comes to design and print. We thought we’d share with you some of the most epic sign failures we’ve ever seen. They mostly have to do with the misuse of quotations. Sit back, relax and enjoy the humor.

1. “FREE” Take One. We are so confused. Is it free or isn’t it. Why, what, how, huh? We’re confused.
2. Thanks for being our “dad”. Well, looks like mommy has some explaining to do!
3. “DO NOT” Put nothing here. Hmmm the devil and the angel both weight heavily on this one. Should we or shouldn’t we! Decisions, decisions.
4. Day old “bread” 99¢ ‘Cause you know, after a day, we’re not sure if it’s bread anymore or not. Mwahahaha. Would you buy this “bread”?
5. Ring bell for “meat service” If you’re not getting meat service, what are we getting when we ring that bell? Uh-Oh.
6. Fireworks “you can trust” sold here Don’t worry, “you can trust us” ;)
7. Caution: “men working” We’re not sure, are they emasculating their employees or implying that no one works.
8. Cocteles Meats & Chicken “Lobster” Sure this might be considered vehicle decals but we let it slide since we do those too but there should be know question about lobster. Something here seems awfully fishy!
9. “Beer” Now Available We agree, Bud Light is questionable beer. That’s what they were saying, right?
10 Cox Toyota/Scion “Cares About You” Please guys, tell us how you really feel.
